WebSplit,
Slickscreen and
Slickscreen Professional, the
web browsing programs, does not collect information about its
users or its users web browsing habits.
Slickscreen leverages Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser,
so all privacy, cookie settings and security settings are inherited from
Microsoft Internet Explorer. Slickscreen Professional can also use the Chromium engine, which manges privacy on its own. Slickscreen does not do any tracking within our software of what sites you navigate to. Slickscreen contains features that allow you to bookmark sites, this information is stored on your computer and transmitted to Slickscreen. In short, we have no interest in who you are, and what websites you are using, as our mission is to make better software.
Internet basics
WebSplit and Slickscreen is designed to make it easy to browse and interact with websites on your intranet or on the Internet. Whenever you use the Internet, or software with Internet enabled features, information about your computer ("standard computer information") is sent to the websites you visit and online services you use. Standard computer information includes your computer's IP address, browser type and language, access times, and referring website addresses. This information might be logged on those sites' web servers. Which information is logged and how that information is used depends on the privacy practices of the websites you visit and web services you use.

Furthermore, Slickscreen is a program that does not require
email registration. Customers that upgrade to the
professional version of Slickscreen, or WebSplit, may choose to send us their
email address, and may receive email (which they can opt out of)
about upcoming releases and support matters. If you choose to upgrade, Slickscreen
does not share your email or personal information with anyone. Slickscreen and WebSplit upgrades payments are handled by Google, Microsoft and TriaPay, so please consult the privacy policies of those companies.
